I always used to tune it out (figuratively or literally) when it was on the radio, but lately if it comes on during a late night slow jam set and catches me at the right moment, I get a little choked up. it's not so much an R&B ballad as it is a remorseful meditation on charmic retribution. kinda like "Sorry 2004", except not shitty.

it's true, I'm dead inside. but jesus is "Sorry 2004" awful. the lyrics are too sloppy and lazy to even be respectably bland or push the basic emotional buttons that almost any generic R&B ballad can.
