One Of Rock In the 90s Most Underrated Gems

That album reminds me of 6th form in Yorkshire. It's hard to believe they used to be a hair metal band. I'm sure it was dismissed asa NIN/Ministy bandwagon jumper but I say it needs re-evaluated. ANyone agree?

Oh and yeah what about the other stuff?

I actually thought their sugar glam pop metal stuff was great!

This is the first time you've actually told me you listened to it then! I thought you always just laughed. So were they Pretty Boy Floyd worthy?

They were a favorite on Pirate Radio 100.3 in L.A. for a while... it was great! I've been really wanting to get a copy of their pop metal record badly. (That said, I vaguely remember their "industrial" sounding song, and it was exactly what it was.. a bandwagon jumping pop industrial song with every cliche of the genre imaginable.. which made me smile, but more in a mocking way)

I thought both Saigon Kick and Sleeze Beez were better. I think.

I retain a happy affection for D.A.D. aka Disneyland After Dark. A bassist with one string and the sense of humor to go with it = who needs the D******s?

"Sleeping My Day Away" is freakin' AMAZING, man. I need to get that album...

I saw a video of theirs on VH1 Classic Metal Mania once. It involved them rocking out while women in lingerie rolled around in beds, impatiently waiting for the return of their Messianic Shotguns. The singer may well be Jesse Camp. Looks just like him. The song had an impressive amount of phlegmy gunk (like a hair-metal Die Kreuzen or something) but I can't actually remember anything else about the song. Classic video though.
