Extra-question: how many Mega-bytes y'all download per, let's say 2 weeks? 4 me it's an average of 650Mb.

well, tonight i've downloaded pyrolator's _inland_, a few 60s psych tracks, and i'm working on cabaret voltaire's _red mecca_. that's probably 150 meg or so tonight... i reckon 500-600 meg for an average week, up to a gig if i'm finding good stuff. hmm.. so that's where my 40 gigs of disk space went.

I tend to upload more than I download. How many mbs do I download biweekly? About 3 Mb. Last songs I downloaded were a NIN&Spice Girls collaboration and a song off the new Aphex Twin.

It seems a shame to waste any bandwidth at all, (in the UK slow lane) get your moneys worth .. 7kbps X number of seconds in a day X 2 weeks =

maybe when i get upto real time speed it will make more sense..

None, they put a block on all ports not used by well known programs at my university. I think they saved UT's port to stop the frosh from whining.
