Are there any songs with the words "Take Me Home" in the title that aren't brilliant?

Sophie Ellis Bextor- Take Me Home
Eddie Money- Take Me Home Tonight
Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam- I Wonder If I Take You Home

These are obviously the three best singles of all time. Are there any more in this canon?

Yep, Phil Collins "Take Me Home", with added Sting if it wasn't bad enough IIRC.

peter gabriel's also credited as singing on phil collin's "take me home." and it's one of my favorite phil collins songs!

"Take Me Home Again" wasn't exactly one of Tom Robinson's career-defining moments.

Stewart Osborne (Stewart Osborne), Friday, 19 March 2004 09:15 (twenty-two years ago)

that's Sophie's worst single really tho innit? save for 'Music Gets The Best Of Me' praps

not sure about the Phil Collins one, but the Bone Thugs version with Phil was...awful...really

stevem (blueski), Friday, 19 March 2004 11:53 (twenty-two years ago)

No, SEB's worst single is "Mixed Up World", easily.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 19 March 2004 11:55 (twenty-two years ago)

No, it was "I Won't Change You". "Mixed Up World" is genius. (of course, Sophie's "Take Me Home" and Cher's are basically the same song with some slight re-writing.)

Angie Martinez f/Kelis
"Take You Home"

pheNAM (pheNAM), Friday, 19 March 2004 15:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick H (Nick H), Friday, 19 March 2004 16:23 (twenty-two years ago)

The Phil Collins one is wayyyy better than the Eddie Money one.

"Let Me Take You Home Tonight" is the worst song on Boston.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Friday, 19 March 2004 20:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I shocked by all the Phil Collins love here.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 19 March 2004 20:36 (twenty-two years ago)

"I Won't Change You" has the wacky video with Sophie with red hair, so it officially can't be bad.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 19 March 2004 23:35 (twenty-two years ago)

does morrissey's "take me homo" count?

dean! (deangulberry), Saturday, 20 March 2004 00:02 (twenty-two years ago)

oh i'm not a big phil collins fan by any stretch. i just like "take me home" (and a few others, like "in the air tonight").

The Last Ride - Todd Rundgren

I'm grateful that I can hear this one in my head, because my turntable is gettin' kinda lazy.

jim wentworth (wench), Saturday, 20 March 2004 03:42 (twenty-two years ago)

lovebug starski, Saturday, 20 March 2004 12:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Gloworm's "Carry Me Home" is also superb.
