I've always been intrigued by what I heard.
It's an epic task, so perhaps someone could offer some recommendations and background. He was prolific, and he's dead? right.

Prolific, dead, and pretty explicitly into the violent side of hyper- reactionary Islam, which makes his stuff frankly a little less appealing to me right now. Also REALLY inconsistent, but the great stuff is smashing. My favorite of his records is _Baghdad_-- unbelievably hard digital dub. Of the more recent releases, _Abu-Dis_ is pretty interesting too.
