It's lame to be the only responder to my own article thread (sob!) but I ought to point out publically that the fine fellow who put me onto DJ Marlboro is Mr.Job De Wit, and I thank him enormously, and I will link to his site as soon as I get back to NYLPM and do some proper links, like.

One of big-smile things I read recently was an interview with the Avalanches, where they (or some of they) said that they had to ride down to the nearest city every fortnight to pick up NME, and then ages later to pick up the actual records, and the actual pieces of plastic/CDs were never as good as they had expected. So they _made_ them as good.
