Nikki Sixx used to be in a band called LONDON in LA before Motley Crue. Does anyone know if the lead singer of LONDON went on to do any other stuff? I think his name was London as well.

Lizzie Grey was the guitarist of London for about 37 years. A lot of other LA lowlifes passed through the band, including Blackie Lawless and Fred Coury. There was a singer at one point named D'Priest who went on to form a band named after himself. Of note to Mojo readers, the singer of Mott the Hoople took over for a while in the early '80s.

they were featured in the movie Decline of Western Civilization Pt. 2 and talked about the fact that all sorts of people went through the band and onto "greater" things

According to allmusic, sixx and lizzie grey formed London after being kicked out of Lawless' band Sister....Nigel Benjamin (ex Mott dude), Cinderella's Fred Coury, and even the great Izzy Stradlin did time in London too....
