The weird thing, from a British perspective in Israel at the moment, is the way that officials from the government and the army blatantly claim responsibility for the killing and say stuff like "the world is better off without him". Palestinians are now threatening to "open the gates of hell" on Israel and its allies.
Israel says these killings are a justified part of the war against terrorism; Palestinians say this is an act of State-sponsored terrorism.

What's weird about it? Looks like the Israelis have already "searched" for Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and "destroyed" him, in doing so allowing us to get back to discussing whether we prefer Pete Brown's work in Piblokto or Battered Ornaments.
