Guns & Roses Greatest Hits Censored?

I heard the word "cunt" was muted in the song "Ain't it fun" on the new GNR greatest hits cd. Anyone know if this is true? Also has anyone heard the mp3's out there that claim to be from the Chinese Democracy album?

Why would you buy this thing anyhow? All their albums are still in print.

Phil Freeman (Phil Freeman), Friday, 26 March 2004 20:15 (twenty-two years ago)

can you call it a greatest hits if it's worse than the album?

autovac (autovac), Friday, 26 March 2004 20:18 (twenty-two years ago)

not buying shit.

What? What about "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"? What about "One in a Million"? What about "November Rain"? WHAT ABOUT "GET IN THE RING"!?!?!?

Mr. Snrub (Mr. Snrub), Sunday, 28 March 2004 00:17 (twenty-two years ago)

What about'em? None of those tracks (with the possible exception of "I Used to Love Her...") measure up to Appetite for Destruction. In a perfect world, they would've all perished in a bizarre snorkling accident after that album and, like Kiss, never would've gone onto ruin their legacy with embarassinggly bloated piffle like the Lose your Erection albums.

I really wish they'd use horn sounds rather that just blanking out words. "One In A Million" would be a trip if it was "immigrants and AROOOGA -- that's right!"

Alex this isn't hostile, but you need to start giving yourself better reasons to post pics. Actually, so does everyone on ILX. Pics are replacing stuff as basic as "Yup" now, it's bizarre.

But the video for "November Rain" is priceless, in its own horribly bloated and pretentious (in the bad sense) way.

Someone left that cake out in the rain, and a guy ploughed right into it!

Did you know that they actual helicoptered that church into the desert just for Slash (who did it out of envy after seeing Richie Sambora play on a mountain in a Bon Jovi video)?

Helicopters and cake aren't free and that's the reason p2p file sharing must stop NOW.

I nearly bought the Spaghetti Incident yesterday.

Still, one of my favorite sites ever.

Party 44 still haunts me.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Maybe you need a faster connection.

Party 44 looks kinda like the singer from the Darkness.
