Cold Crush Brothers...worth $24 to see live?

I have an opportunity to see this:
"COLD CRUSH BROTHERS TOUR: HIPHOP INNOVATORS featuring the first ever simultaneous DJ and MC GRANDMASTER CAZ; the original COLD CRUSH DJs CHASE AND TONY TONE and THE INVENTOR OF THE SCRATCH (yes, that's right) GRAND WIZZARD THEODORE; $18 advance, $22 day of show"
My first impression is that it would be awesome. Has anybody seen them recently and am I right?

perhaps if $24 buys you a time machine

Yeah, of course seeing them "back in the day" would be ideal but I wasn't hip to them when I was five. I have avoided seeing musicians whose music I am most attracted to was made 20+ years earlier but I am beginning to come around on this. I'm starting to get more into the "see 'em while you still can" line of thought. I saw Michael Hurley from Holy Modal Rounders last weekend and that was a great time so shouldn't I give the Cold Crush the same consideration?

No. The only bands you should see were formed yesterday, everyone else is too old and can do nothing.

(Stereolab last night were fantastic! Anyway, carry on.)

I bet the old dudes can still deliver live...old school rappers generally seem to have much better live skills than 90s-on guys....

that was a very general statement with many, many exceptions

$24 of what kind of dollars?

American? No.
Fijian? Maybe. Actually, no.
