out last week, I guess? Carl is my boy, but the first single, "She Is" f/ LL Cool J, is not a good look for him. the 2nd single, "Make It Alright", is pretty good, though. in the TV ads (narrated by Free from 106&Park!) when they list the songs, "The Baby Maker" is referred to as "the self-explanatory 'Baby Maker'". I really want to hear that song.

I wonder if anyone else from the Maryland/D.C. area can't help but think of those old Stephen L. Miles commercials when they see this album title.

there's a good new CT song on mixtapes called "The Way You Do" which for some reason is not on the album, it's produced by/featuring Kanye, who boasts about being "the best dressed nigga next to fags, and I'm the best version of Ma$e next to Fab"(!!).

my long running obsession with Carl Thomas stems from a special Bad Boy edition of either the Keenan Ivory Wayans talk show or the similiarly short-lived Vibe talk show circa 97, where Puff showcased his new artists, which included Carl, singing a ballad undernearth a giant neon sign that said CARL THOMAS. and on that day, I vowed to love Carl Thomas forever. and this was before he was even on the "Been Around The World" remix!
