So I'm reading an otherwise innocuous Upcoming Sly album?!? I looked for other news on this but found nothing. Anything I should know? Anything I should look forward to?

Thanks in advance,
Joseph McCombs.

Sorry, I screwed up my HTML.

Billboard story:

Quote:
"[Buddy] Guy and Mayer recently recorded Sly & the Family Stone's "You Can Make It if You Try," which is slated to be featured on an upcoming Sly album. "

New Sly album?!?!?

Following a pair of December dates at New York's Irving Plaza with Buddy Guy, John Mayer has teamed up with the blues legend for a scorching remix of Sly & the Family Stone's "You Can Make It If You Try," slated to appear on an upcoming album of new mixes of classic Sly tracks. "Lord, this kid's another B.B. King!," Buddy Guy told Guitar One magazine (April 2004). "You just never get tired of hearing John play."

Well, it poses a question in the title and we comprehensively answer it for those who may be interested.

Something wrong there...
