i just got the 12" and now every day is a hoe-liday. oh and the edited version is retarded, it's like like 'i bang (blank) in bangcock', what the fuck. so, discuss.

it's the abominable hoe-man! (sp: bangkok?)

ethan, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I will support Ludacris for a long time. His subject matter is so thin and his delivery so predictable t's almost nonsesne, really, but so well executed and consistantly funny.

JM, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

you're backing the right whorse.

ethan, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ludacris' subject-matter thin? Surely he has a whored of available puns that are just waiting to be unleashed.

Tim, Tuesday, 23 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Luda's subject matter is the opposite of thin. his ho thing is a one-trick pony, but his album has remarkable breadth -- most overtly in Southern Hospitality (once quipped to me: Southern culture is preach cobbler at a lynching) but also game got switched and get off me, and the sleaze of phat rabbit. Sure he plays up sexuality, but look at his recent guest verses and admire the span of his metaphorical reach -- leagues beyond anyone else out three today.

Sterling's right - on Back For The First Time "Ho" (the one that started this particular ball rolling) stood out precisely because it's not like most of the other tracks there. He's subsequently done more in that vein but I doubt it'll dominate his ouvre. And I'm one of the minority who thinks his appearance on "One Minute Man" is the superior - not because Jigga's is bad, but because Luda's is so damn fantastically great.

Coming up in middle of November at S.O.B.'s - gonna git my tires rotated

Tracer Hand, Tuesday, 23 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm still sad he doesn't shout out to 646. There are plenty of hos in my area code.

Ally, Friday, 26 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

917 prob rules this category tho, dontcha think?

Tracer Hand, Friday, 26 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"smoke a blunt and dial 917 / 340693 eleven / and you can get long dick hip hop affection / i'll damage any MC who step in my direction"

I love it when the guys iz hoez too

Tracer Hand, Friday, 26 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

917 is cell phones, everyone has a 917. Except me, who inexplicably got 347, whatever the hell that means. Like Ludacris is gonna shout out to 347. Fuck you, phone company. I'm going to call the phone company when my roommate moves and try to get a 212 so I can get an area code shout out. Supposedly there are some 212s available now.

two years pass...
Do rappers get sad if their area codes change? What if they pledge allegiance to one particular area code until the day they die and then it changes? What happens then?

Curt1s Stephens, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 23:47 (seventeen years ago)

I don't think it's fair that Nate Dogg's area codes get counted as "Ludacris's". Unless they're bangin the same people, which I guess could be happening.

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 13 March 2008 15:44 (seventeen years ago)

no myrtle beach hoes
