I got to see the Warmers twice during their brief run (with Shudder to Think, and an early Foo Fighters (!) show at Dave Grohl's club The Black Cat) and I loved them. Are there other fans of this overlooked album?
I was just going to post this on one of the many Modest Mouse threads, but thought I might use this opportunity to declare my love for The Warmers s/t album on Dischord. Amy Farina/Alec MacKaye/Juan Carrera. Great minimal catchy punk rock. Search. Classic.

Anyway, I liked the Warmers, saw them many times, and booked them once. The band probably would've been better with a different guitarist and just Alec singing, maybe, but they were still fun.

Matt, did you ever hear them? I dug out "Wanted: More" recently and still love it. This band is an eternal sleeper.

I was a fan of Alec M. in Faith but mostly missed out on this incarnation. I guess I should check 'em out.
