If you want new releases on cd for cheap try Disc-O-Rama on W.4th St btwn. 6th Ave/Varick St.orSounds on St.Marks Place btwn. 2nd/3rd Avenue.
There's about 5 cd shops on St. Marks that sell used Hip Hop cd's. If you feel like diggin' you might find some nice shit for cheap.
