Best connection I can come up with between Napalm Death/Aphex Twin is that Napalm Death debut was on a Crass Records comp. The Soft Pink Truth did a cover of Crass' "Do They Owe Us A Living" and Matmos get compared to the Aphex Twin sometimes.
Lame. But can you do better?

Mike Patton and the Dillinger Escape Plan covered Aphex Twin's "Come to Daddy" on the Irony Is a Dead Scene EP, and Napalm Death opened for Faith No More at one point.

Plus, Richard James owns a tank, and tanks were used extensively by the US army, along with napalm.

And he has long hair like a metal dood. (Except for the ones who don't have long hair.)

And napalm causes death.

(x-post)
...and some thought Mick Harris and Mitch Harris were twins? Well, there are better Napalm/AFX connections then those, mostly routing through Scorn and Warp Records. Scorn is Napalm Death's early drummer, Scorn is on comps and mixes with Aphex Twin, and there's probably a Jesu connection to AFX somewhere, too.
Now that I've had four years to study the '80s UK rave scene, and have spent all of three minutes doing so, I gather Mighty Force the label were omnipresent enough that the Earache kid was probably just paying tribute. But the Earache Mighty Force is still an anomaly wrapped in enigma. I'll remain virtuously patient and patiently virtuously waiting for the Mighty Force book to explain all...
See you in four years!
