what's that?...I can't hear you..

winterland, Monday, 5 April 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

I can see the similarity, but it's in a good way. Even if changing the title from 'The Dark Of The Matinee' to 'Matinee' is a bloody stupid thing to do.

I saw the video for this on telly the other night. They perform in front of a big picture of Terry Wogan. I can't remember if it sounded like Shed Seven or not.

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 5 April 2004 11:29 (twenty-one years ago)

he says 'factories' a lot, it's not bad

stevem (blueski), Monday, 5 April 2004 11:43 (twenty-one years ago)

they should have performed in front of a big picture of Terry Wogan being drawn and quartered...just kidding, he's great...just kidding, he's not

that's MR. sanchez to you (mokey), Monday, 5 April 2004 12:06 (twenty-one years ago)

It doesn't sound like Shed Seven. It does, however, sound like the Divine Comedy.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 5 April 2004 12:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, it sounds like "Hava Nagila" - listen to that guitar riff.

darren (darren), Monday, 5 April 2004 12:11 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't decide which is worse, sounding like Shed Seven or sounding like The Divine Comedy.

Ricardo (RickyT), Monday, 5 April 2004 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

= sounding like Strangelove

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Monday, 5 April 2004 12:36 (twenty-one years ago)
