The song w/ Aesop Rock, the song w/ Vast aire, the El-P produced single "Illy", and the track "Body" are all pretty cool.

Here is my SA Smash story...
I'm at birthday party in Brooklyn, a ladyfriend comes up to me with a dude in tow, seems to be her new squeeze. (back story, she is a < wigger>hip hop DJ< /wigger> and has a rampant case of Jungle Feverthe extent of our relationship is just shoot'n the breeze about hip-hop).

So, old girl comes up and the first thing she says is:
"Hey, have you heard SA Smash?"
me: "No, but I heard they suck"
her:"ummmm, this is my friend, he IS in SA SMASH"
me: "urgggghhhh..."

hey, just stumbled on here from google, i just wanna ask a question. I bought the "gangsta" LP from a 2nd hand shop over here in england, and on gettin it home i liked it, furthermore i looked on the inside of the record ( between the label and music grooves and found a message had been scratched on there "ouch thats hot DJX52-1a Tippy Hit Factory NYC" does anything think it is worth anything or is it a first press, Thnaks for any feedback

i have to say that the album quite blew. but i like the track about the devil or whatever on the newer def jux comp. mainly for it's sheer effrontery
