Is slsk down for everyone at the moment?

jinxed, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 16:16 (twenty-one years ago)

yes

anthony kyle monday (akmonday), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 16:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I know this site is terribly difficult to use, linked from the frontpage of the slsk site and everything, but maybe it might have better answers for you.

Xii (Xii), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 16:49 (twenty-one years ago)

The script was broken when I went there last week. Seems to be working now though.

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 16:56 (twenty-one years ago)

not to mention the OFFICIAL forums which is easily linked from their homepage.

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 16:57 (twenty-one years ago)

it's back. like a bad penny.

boomnoise!zoo, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 18:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Not only is it back up BUT they've gave me 35 days privileges. And a message from nir thanking me for donating. Except i donated 3 weeks ago for 2 months and they had been added on then.
Strange.
But who is complaining!!
Did everyone else who donates get this too?

Jinxster, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 18:15 (twenty-one years ago)

It went down and they took the privs back off me.

Jinxster, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 18:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I got something ridiculous like an extra 130 days of privileges! Yay for slsk fuckups!

anthony kyle monday (akmonday), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 18:40 (twenty-one years ago)

If the number keeps growing like this, I'll have, like, 4 years of privileges by the time I get home from work. Wahoo!

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 18:42 (twenty-one years ago)

So THAT'S why I've been remotely queued for three days...

roger adultery, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 20:10 (twenty-one years ago)

is it down again?

piscesboy, Saturday, 10 April 2004 19:37 (twenty-one years ago)

this script tests if the slsk server is up.

Slsknet.org :: Soulseek Board

probing server... failed.

the server seems to be down.

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 19:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Is there a thread like this every time slsk goes down? [searches] Okay, probably not, but there sure are a lot of them...

Matthew Cohen (flightsatdusk), Saturday, 10 April 2004 19:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I've been clicking "connect" every 5 minutes for the past 4 hours

Shaun (shaun), Saturday, 10 April 2004 20:19 (twenty-one years ago)

roger adultery (roger adultery), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:32 (twenty-one years ago)

it is back now - incase peeps don't know

myke boomnoise (myke boomnoise), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:38 (twenty-one years ago)

bless you myke. bless your sweet heart.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:39 (twenty-one years ago)

no one should have to endure those lonely hours without it.

myke boomnoise (myke boomnoise), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Those hours can be spent listening to the dozens of albums you've downloaded months ago and still haven't heard..

Michael Dubsky, Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:42 (twenty-one years ago)

very true but the collection of compressed audio data is an addiction which runs deeper than one might think

myke boomnoise (myke boomnoise), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

no you have to download new stuff to enjoy anything

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:44 (twenty-one years ago)

yes right now. ooh don't you know it. it hurts. how long for is the question. this thread is pointless but i love it.

myke boomnoise (myke boomnoise), Sunday, 11 April 2004 17:16 (twenty-one years ago)

no you have to download new stuff to enjoy anything

you have no idea how true this is

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Sunday, 11 April 2004 17:58 (twenty-one years ago)

i concur. but should we look at ourselves and question why it is true or just not bother and continue? i for one can't begin to justify it.

myke boomnoise (myke boomnoise), Sunday, 11 April 2004 18:01 (twenty-one years ago)

ahhhhhhhh crap i think its down again and a TV commercial just reminded me of how good BB King's "Knock Me A Kiss" is

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 12 April 2004 01:58 (twenty-one years ago)

seven years pass...

A41 (admrl), Wednesday, 17 August 2011 02:21 (fourteen years ago)

Yep, no love at this end.

viborg, Wednesday, 17 August 2011 02:33 (fourteen years ago)

moonship journey to baja, Wednesday, 17 August 2011 04:10 (fourteen years ago)

er SoulseekQT

moonship journey to baja, Wednesday, 17 August 2011 04:10 (fourteen years ago)

which is actually not too bad compared to my first ever slsk install so many years ago

moonship journey to baja, Wednesday, 17 August 2011 04:11 (fourteen years ago)

one month passes...

now that i'm on lion i finally have lost access to SSX which fucking SSUXXSKS

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Saturday, 8 October 2011 13:26 (thirteen years ago)

ok i am connected to ssX on two computers now, w.diff accounts -- i hooked up the iMac while the MacBook was in dock -- but if i go online with both at once, they can't find each other

(this isn't a big problem, i can transfer material via non-p2p means obv, like a MEMORY STICK, but i'm curious why do my two usenames think the other one is offline? i can DL easily on both, but ppl almost never upload from me and i wonder if i'm behind some kind of unintentional screen?)

ps tracer thx for the repair-guy steer -- very quick and friendly and laptop now way faster and roomier... plus the prob.with the broken panel was that the battery had started to explode from within, and gone all fat, yikes

mark s, Saturday, 8 October 2011 13:39 (thirteen years ago)

apparently there is now a port of slsk for newer macs http://www.slsknet.org/news/node/1

corey, Saturday, 8 October 2011 18:04 (thirteen years ago)

I've been using slkqt for two months now. You can find everything but it's sort of buggy and it's really hard to use when compared to the pc one. Also I can't load any of the other's users libraries.
