John Darnielle: The Latest UK Rock Star...

....according to XFM, anyhoo. Am currently vibing to XFM (London radio station) when I heard mention of our Mountain Goats guy. Course, had to stop and listen.

Apparently, our John D is doing a One Night Stand at the Barfly (?) tonight. The hosts had nowt but good to say of his latest release, and his open and warm stage presence with the crowd. (Not like the L.A. whippersnappers don't know that.)
