Franz Ferdinand vs The Yummy Fur

Seeing as two of FF were the Fur, which is better? Me, I love Male Shadow At Three O'Clock, but nobody else seems to. FF are obviously a more commercial prospect but just don't excite me quite as much. Has anyone heard John Yummy Fur's new band (Mars Hotel, I think)?

Yummy Fur made amazing singles ("Plastic Cowboy," "Stereo Girls," "Policeman," etc.). I have the Male Shadow CD, but it's a bit too overwhelming to appreciate.

male shadow is the worst yummy fur record by a good stretch but it's still better than franz ferdinand who actually should probably be on too pure along with the keys and scout niblett keeping all the awful music in one place.
