What songs should absolutely never EVER be cut off?

At the local bar around here Wednesday's are the reggae/dub night. The DJ -- who isn't what I'd call stellar -- always screws around with the songs that he plays. I can usually block out his feeble attempts to channel Coxsone Dodd, but last night he cut off "Solid Foundation" by the Congos. This really pissed me off. I was reminded of how angry a friend of mine got when I talked over the end of Pavement's "Summer Babe" on a radio show I used to do.

Hence the question.

Wipeout, Playing with the Queen of Hearts, Come Sail Away (thanks, Cartman), ...

Not because any of them are good, but if you don't let them run their course and then go on to the next song, they'll be stuck in your head for a week.

Songs not to be cut, as a sign of respect: Warthog, the Ramones 2541, Grant Hart Anti-Socialist, My Dad is Dead Blue Line Swinger, Yo La Tengo

"...how angry a friend of mine got when I talked over the end of Pavement's 'Summer Babe.'"

I want to kill you.

Also, Layla. I've heard stations cut off the coda at the end.

About half of the heartbreakingly classic "Weather Report" by the Tennors was cut off by (pah!) a band starting at a function I was at last weekend.

The DJ was rightly outraged, and ensured he played the record in full later in the evening. What a nice man.

I hate cutting any song I like off. It seems so crass.

Wot about songs that fade off then fade back in then fade off, but you never hear the fade back in and fade off because the DJ talks over the first fade off, like it's the actual proper final fade off!!!! (eg "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore" by the The Smiths)

blue line swinger (yes dave), katy song (red house painters) and everything by joy division. new order can be cut. it would be just like a premature orgasm. like in real life.

"Weinerschnitzel" by the Descendents. For the obvious reasons.

Cutting off the coda would make "Layla" the great song it could be.

What songs should always be cut off? "Rocket Queen", after the girl climaxes, for damn sure. Dead Boys - "Sonic Reducer", after the first verse.

Shit. I was going to say Mr Blue Sky.
So, I'll say "Life on Mars?" instead. Very annoying for radio DJs as the ending is so quiet.
