COPS seized two pairs of Michael Jackson’s dirty white Calvin Klein briefs for DNA jism tests.

They grabbed the smalls from a sordid collection of Jacko memorabilia.

They want to check if stains found on Jacko’s mattress were his or from boys he slept with.

The officers also took a note they believe was written to youngsters visiting his home — referring to them as "rubbers." He wrote: "Dear Rubbers, I had to go. See you later. Love, M.J."

They seized a set of rules for the star’s Rubberhead Club.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) _ A New Jersey man once awarded a warehouse full of Jackson family underpants in a bankruptcy settlement turned over pairs of the King of Pop's undershorts and other items to authorities investigating the Michael Jackson child molestation case.

Henry V. Vaccaro Sr. of Interlaken said he found Calvin Klein briefs ...

Vaccaro, 63, said he was awarded the Jackson family's under possessions following nine years of legal wrangling stemming from a failed business venture that wound up in bankruptcy court.

"Once we secured the underwears, we notified the district attorney's office," a New Jersey police officer said. "They sent two detectives out and we turned the used bags over to them."

Last month Mr Jackson's lawyer said he would sue for the return of lingerie items sold by Mr Vaccaro to a European buyer.

Mr Vaccaro had been awarded them after a bankruptcy legal case. He admitted he had already sold the bags for more than £792,000.

Mr Jackson's lawyer, Brian Wolf, had said the undertrousers should never have been included in the goods given to Mr Vaccaro as part of the bankruptcy settlement

The trove of memorabilia included two handwritten notes, apparently from Jackson, and a lighthearted list of "rules" written by a youngster who knew Jackson for children staying at his 1 040-hectare Neverland ranch in California.

One of the handwritten notes was addressed "Dear Rubbers", the term he reportedly used for boys who stayed at the ranch.
