Quickly, yes or no? any idea what he's doing if he is still around?

I sure he's still alive. He toured the U.S. with a band at least a few years ago... around the same time Damo Suzuki was touring. I wonder if they ever literally crossed paths.

My brother met him last summer. He (my brother) was selling records at Bard College(maybe?) and an older black guy came up and looked thru the records and noticed a Can record and told my brother that he used to sing with them. My brother flipped out of course, and Malcom said that he worked for the school. Not a faculty member or anything. I dunno what his job was. I think I'm remembering that story correctly.

That CD he put out a couple of years ago with bay area musicians (including some guys from MX-80, I believe) was actually enjoyable. I'm forgetting the title. It was kind of conceptually weird, kind of like a Red Krayola album!

Also, he did a reading of "Rip Van Winkle" for David Tyack, which was issued by Twisted Nerve, early last year. (David Tyack is currently missing...)
