Dominique Petitgand.... anyone else heard CD's from this french artist?

I know that this is probably hyper-obscure, but if ever there was an online crowd in the know about such things... okay, here goes. A friend of mine gave me a CD called "Le Point De Cote" last week by Dominique Petitgand and I can't stop listening to it. I think that he or she is an artist who's transgressed and entered the music world in France to glorious effect. Very intimate stuff, very French. I can't believe that I've never heard of this before. Is there anyone out there with a more informed opinion re: Dominique Petitgand, or even better, have recommendations for anyone who'd like stuff like this?
