I want to see if he's really bloated and bald.

the 'surface' 'noise' (electricsound), Saturday, 8 May 2004 00:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Axl only wishes he had GG Allin's cred right about now.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:05 (twenty-one years ago)

"GG Allin's cred"

err, fuck off

..., Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:09 (twenty-one years ago)

that was supposed to be a joke. GG sounds like a pottymouth cookie monster to me.

New Beefy Axl

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:18 (twenty-one years ago)

x-post ok. but you forgot rapist psychotic nazi pinhead fuck.

..., Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:20 (twenty-one years ago)

true, but the above description probably describes Axl just as well. I think they're both crap.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Pfft. Give us a hard one.

Patrick Kinghorn, Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Axl "Buckethead is destroying my genius" Rose vs. Elvis "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm the NBC peacock" Presley is a tough call for me, in a race-to-the-bottom kind of way.

m.e.a. (m.e.a.), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Fat Elvis had a couple of ok singles. Fat Axl meanwhile has......nothing. Elvis wins by
default.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude, Elvis karate chops Axl's whiney ass.

Patrick Kinghorn, Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:44 (twenty-one years ago)

when is that "fat axl" pic from?

King Kobra (King Kobra), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Hell, DEAD Elvis had a better single(A little less conversation Rmx) than anything Axl's done since "Appetite For Destruction".

AaronHz (AaronHz), Saturday, 8 May 2004 01:49 (twenty-one years ago)

oh come on, that's not true. The Use Your Illusion albums were pretty good. (would have made a killer single disc!)

King Kobra (King Kobra), Saturday, 8 May 2004 02:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Michael Jackson looks like a moldy statue.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Saturday, 8 May 2004 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

looks like?

wetmink (wetmink), Saturday, 8 May 2004 02:52 (twenty-one years ago)

He looks like some anime/manga demon.

de, Saturday, 8 May 2004 02:57 (twenty-one years ago)

'looks like? "

well, he has demonstrated his ability to move around, so maybe he's closer to being a moldy automaton. but point taken.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Saturday, 8 May 2004 03:48 (twenty-one years ago)

"when is that "fat axl" pic from?"

I think I remember it being from GNR doing Rock in Rio, near the beginning of this decade.

My name is Kenny (My name is Kenny), Saturday, 8 May 2004 04:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I think all the ridicule of Axl's current/recent appearance is pretty overblown. I mean, for a guy at his age who's been more or less out of the public eye for 10 years, he's not looking that bad. yeah, he's crazy, but he's not as fat or old-looking as he is crazy, and that's easily enough to make fun of him for.

Al (sitcom), Saturday, 8 May 2004 04:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I remember it being from GNR doing Rock in Rio, near the beginning of this decade.

Yeah, when Chinese Democracy was about to come out. Ah remember the anticipation? Um, hello? Anyone?

Axl Rose Breaks His Silence

Je4nn3 ƒur¥ (Je4nne Fury), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:00 (nineteen years ago)

"People will hear music this year," says Axl Rose

Proving once again he is a master of careful phrasing.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:18 (nineteen years ago)

when i hear music, it makes me dance.

danielle the animal steel (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:20 (nineteen years ago)

i don't think he looks that bad. but those nostrils, sheesh... does he have the entire nation of colombia up there?

"people will also see movies."

joseph cotten (joseph cotten), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:26 (nineteen years ago)

"I see dead careers."

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:31 (nineteen years ago)

i have just no faith for rockers in jerseys....it may be cheap, but its how i feel...

then again i could never really give an ounce of damn for mr rose

bb (bbrz), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:35 (nineteen years ago)

he is looking a little... dexter holland-y.

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:39 (nineteen years ago)

I heard he is addicted to getting plastic surgery. That pic in RS that makes him look like a 16 year old boy would seem to suggest there may be some truth to it?

BlastsOfStatic (BlastsofStatic), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 20:52 (nineteen years ago)

I am ashamed to share taste in books with him.

Shakey Mo Collier (Shakey Mo Collier), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 21:24 (nineteen years ago)

His favorite book is Philip K. Dick's A Scanner Darkly.

duuuuuuuuude!

also, the bald axl is so photoshoped.

jhoshea (scoopsnoodle), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 21:34 (nineteen years ago)

even with the mononostril, he wouldn't look too bad if he just lopped off all those cornfields off his head.

You may not be able to take Indiana out of the man, but you can certainly shave Indiana off the man's head.

Dom iNut (donut), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 21:37 (nineteen years ago)

haha otm. go bald with some dignity, dude.

danielle the animal steel (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 21:38 (nineteen years ago)

He's rockin' a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey in that picture. Still can't stand him or his music, but he's got decent taste in hockey teams.

J-rock (Julien Sandiford), Thursday, 19 January 2006 06:18 (nineteen years ago)

"One thing's for sure: Everyone will be watching."

What? I'm sorry, did you say something?
