DJ on Z 95.3 FM introducing Ian Pooley - Les Balmes featuring Esthero: "Now we're going to hear a little electronica with a great new song by ESTHER BALMS."

And I remember when that christian band Wide Mouth Mason came out the DJs everywhere did an intelligence insulting thing similar to the Franz Ferdinand history lesson by explaining that Wide Mouth Mason, in fact, was a term used to describe JARS! Jars be CRAZY!

All of mine that are gone forever! Better than the shredder, better than the landfill, better than the inadvertently erased stretch of tape, are the DJ gaffes and idiocies that no longer pain the geeks on even Alpha Centauri. Let them never be heard again.

My favourite DJ foul-up is Tony Blackburn introducing a new record called "Planet Earth" as coming from a band called "Duhrrin-duhrrin"!!!! Then 10 mintues later he announced about about 20 bazillion peeps had called up to say that the band's name was actually Duran Duran!!!!!

And of course there was that wonderful time when the Crash Test Dummies had their hit gramophone "Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm" in tha Hit Parade and all the DJs were sounding like they being intermitently gagged when they saying "And thats Crash Test Dummies with MMMMM-MMM-MMM-MMM-MMMM-MMMMM-MMM-MMMM-MMMMM!!!!!!!!"!!!!!!!
