Didn't he do "Rape Me"?

Oh Lord!!! I didn't know what to say. He didn't have angst. He sounded happy and proud!

The best part was when he kicked it off with "This one's for the ladies!"

David Allen (David Allen), Sunday, 9 May 2004 21:50 (twenty-one years ago)

oh god.

I think he added an extra "Rape me" and the way he sang "my friend"

I'm a fan. I've not got the new album yet, though, I really wanna hear his take on "Stand Up". Personal favourite would be his "Get Down With The Sickness".

I need to find some of his stuff. They used to play a couple songs on the radio station I listen to. They don't do that any more. : (

heard this the other night and did laugh (but then we'd all had some poppers, so inevitable. I liked his take on Insane In The Brain.

Personal favourite would be his "Get Down With The Sickness".

his version was used pretty effectively in the Dawn of the Dead remake. i'd say that almost anyone's cover of that song would automatically be an improvement on the original.

I'll get over the fact that listening to the Buzzcocks' "Breakdown" made me fantasize about a R. Cheese version -- but he really should cover this song.

My favorite is his take on "Smack My Bitch Up".

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 10 May 2004 16:24 (twenty-one years ago)

He's great live in Vegas (when I was there about a year or so ago, he was still performing weekly there) if anyone ever gets the chance to see him. He takes just about any request. He did a couple requested Nick Cave songs that were perfect for him. Solid entertainer as well.

four years pass...

"Badd" is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard.
