definitely no hate towards you personally, maria. but man, everytime there's one of these I think it's the lowest this trend could possibly go, and then it manages to go lower.

Has anyone yet combined Jay-Z with Lou's Metal Machine Music to produce the Black Metal album? Just curious...seems like an obvious one.

Ah yes, I see, recorded music is never "finished," it is instead raw material to be shaped, adapted, transformed, morphed.... how post-modern: recorded music is now a process and not a thing.

In other words, the illbient shitheads were OTM.

DJ Spooky laughs at you all (and this would be the first time in a very long time he could do that).

Until someone does a Jay-Z vs Scooter mashup, I'm not interested.

But Siegbran "The Logical Song" is already practically a Kanye West track...

An old French proverb, translated in our peasant tongue as "The Mule Breeder" spoke of a man from Bordeaux who thought to double his yield by breeding horses and donkeys. Afterall if the breeding were right, he reasoned, who would be the wiser. Come summertime he had a grand meadow, full of mules, each ready to work for the winter.

Alas when the first rain fell, each mule fell ill, and one by one they died.

Do you know what the moral of this story is? That deep down we may believe we can mix and match, however at the crux of our existence is the knowledge that this can never be.
