After Gondry, Jonze & Cunningham, what's next on Directors Label, does anyone know?

On the Palm Pics site, they've got a bit about how there will be more in the series to be released this year. I haven't heard any more and I've emailed them a few times, but had no response. Does anyone know? Any guesses for which directors would likely fall under their limelight?

Not sure if this was posted somewhere else here, but Directors Label has officially announced that the next batch will be released on September 13, 2005. This time, it is Mark Romanek, Anton Corbijn, Jonathan Glazer & Stéphane Sednaoui.

I don't rate Hype that much, aside from the Missy and Busta work. Great set designs and slick editing but no more than the others, and generally more derivative than the other three. He is also the only one egocentric and trite enough to put his name at the start of his videos in corny 3d letters.

Hype's got a poorer range too - only doing party videos or dramatic story clips for rnb/rap acts. I'd like to see him branch out, but why would he bother eh?

I think there are probably only about 5 directors whose work would be worthwhile packaging in this way (and Cunningham isn't one of them).

I recall it being originally announced that the Hype Williams DVD was part of the inspiration for beginning this series. There are a lot of great video directors besides Hype who deserve a Directors Label DVD. I'm sure the people behind the series haven't forgotten him, or Jonas Akerlund, or Hammer & Tongs, or Dayton & Ferris, Evan Bernard, Paul Hunter, Jake Scott, Samuel Bayer, Mike Mills, blah blah blah and so on.
