what it says, more or less. listening to the new 500% dynamite comp, i realize that my knowledge of jamiacan music drops sharply in 1980, and only really picks up in the last few years. so, sites with a history of dancehall?

You'll have to get a copy of "King Jammy's" by Beth Lesser--she's quoted on a good portion of the Pressure Sounds re-issues--as soon as the publishing company I work for finishes up with it (give em a few months).
