Audioscrobbler & Musicmobs

Saw Audioscrobbler mentioned on the Musicmobs thread. You just download the plug in for winamp or itunes and then it sends the info to a server and comes up on the website what you've been listening to. So it actually does list what you've REALLY been listening to.

Has anyone used both Audioscrobbler Audioscrobbler and Musicmobs and can tell me which is best? I have no idea what Musicmobs is like, but Audioscrobbler seems real easy to use. Is there much difference between the two?

I like the fact Audioscrobbler tells everyone what track you're currently listening to. It also has groups that you can join although the recommendations part doesn't work for me yet as I haven't played 250 songs.
Does Musicmobs have similar things?

I suppose no one uses both?

I'm enjoying Audioscrobbler so far. I am only at about 200 tracks though, since I just recently signed up, so I don't have recommendations yet.

I heard about it and signed up because of this blog-post I recently read
: Socialising mp3-based music listening

My handle is, er, rogermexico. Spy away!

Note: That Gin Blossoms/Toad TS was sparked by my alarm at seeing how high a couple of Gin Blossoms tracks seem to be charting. Teh shame!

That said, I ::heart:: audioscrobbler. Plus for us mac-types it plays nice with ipod.

I'm too lazy to do the iPod sync thing. Maybe I should start.

If you're using the iTunes/OSX plugin, it's as simple as clicking the "Enable iPod Update" box in your preferences window. (Just below your username and password). And it makes Audioscrobbler dreamy.

(NB - You do have to keep up with your synchs though. Playing tracks in iTunes before reconnecting your 'pod can trigger "spam protection" and dump your ipod submissions.)
