I know of Boredoms and their last few have been pretty kickbutt stuff. What else would anyone add to this list?

Amon Duul II is definitely a good reference for recent Boredoms. For newer related stuff, try OOIOO, Rovo, Lightning Bolt, Gaji (you might try SoundCity 2000, for Japanese imports), Omoide Hatoba. To be honest, Boredoms are a very tough act to follow in this realm.

some of musica transonic rocks in a jimi hendrix at 78rpm style, but its all recorded w/ needles in the red so when they go experimental (reAd when they go "Daevid Allen's Gong" instrumental) it just sounds like a bunch of cack. band of 2 halves maybe.

The recent reissue of Pärson Sound's S/T album is incredible for just sheer psychedelic freak-out stuff. I haven't talked to anyone who's heard it that didn't love it.

lightning bolt is pretty good, but it's more on a systems- music/hardcore tip than psychedelic. if you have access to the mp3s, their 1st 12" is the shiznit.

there isn't much modern stuff i would recommend... gravitar's _now the road of knives_ trims back the jammy feeling of their other discs (which some, wussy, people dislike) and throws in warn defever's excellent production/editing skills to make a big lysergic mess. frown's _wallghost_ is waves of abrasive, penetrating guitar noise and scattered drums. in the more deac c-ish but still fitting the requirements (i think) realm: gang wizard's _el cortez buy'a drink_ cd and especially sq/speedqueen's _monosite_ - one 20 minute track of guitar loops, synthesizer and drums that sound like an american version of gate. doing hawkwind covers.
