in the case of the fabric series the answer depends on how much tolerance you have for straight-up tracky tech house. generic british club music, if you will. i happen to love that shit so i'm buying the fabric cds, but one by one, because frankly if one showed up in the mail every two months i might feel a little overwhelmed anyway.
in the case of fabriclive it's an even tougher question. you're going to be getting eclectic discs (most of which have actually been very good) as well as proggy breaks mixes and drum and bass mixes. i can live without the breaks and d&b cds, so that's a deal-breaker for me.
so i guess i'd say no. you probably shouldn't subscribe, just because its such a mixed bag of stuff you get (in terms of quality as well as style).

They must have a glut of some of these sitting around but most of them are not really series highlights - I haven't been able to get with the Levon and Martyn ones despite all the acclaim, the Pearson/Optimo/Ame ones are okay but all three acts have put out better mixes elsewhere.
The Ellen Allien and Agoria ones are good though, the Robert Hood and Claude Vonstroke ones are brilliant, and the Toddla T and Buraka Som Sistema ones are insanely banging. The bit where Toddla drops 'The Cure And The Cause' is one of my favourite moments on any mix.
I don't even know who 'Marcus Intalex' or 'Baby Mammoth, Beige & Solid Doctor' or 'J Magik' are.

Thanks, good recommendations, and I agree on the Pearson/Optimo/Ame selections, the Pearson one in particular was a bit of a let-down after the great Sci Fi Hi Fi one he did.
Marcus Intalex is a serious techno dude I think, J Magik 90s drill 'n bass IIRC?

Oh wait I really like the Petre Inspirescu one but it's like like hyper-dry minimal with the ghosts of classical music woven through it.
People love the Rub-n-Tug and Doc Martin mixes but I've never heard them.
