I've been reading archived ILM debates about Robert Christgau, and Momus makes some good points, but I'm addicted to reading his reviews and I don't know why. Plus, I hate "Xtina" so Xgau wins.

I love Medusa by Clan Of Xymox. That album is great!!!!!! I never could get into the earlier or later stuff. The dancey stuff was okay, I guess. But kinda like when Kissing The Pink became KTP. The thrill was gone by that point.

The Xuxa show was bad acid all the way. Just completely deranged and chaotic and screaming kids and dubbed noises!!! of screaming kids and just a big mess. God, what a sight. And their budget was all of 2 dollars. And i would get stoned and watch every morning after my graveyard shift job at the supermarket. I'm glad I caught some of the action on tape. Wish I could say the same for Roseanne's ill-fated late-nite comedy show, but I was too slow!! I did manage to tape one of the two episodes of paula poundstone's excruciating late nite entry though.

I will also be heartened ... when I am in my 50's, and until then, I don't want to think about 50 year old people having sex.
