...and I love it. Our old Pontiac Bonneville shitbox is practically held together with duct tape, so its little surprise that the tape deck has finally gone the way of the turning signal, the windshield wipers, and the clock. I was listening to a mixtape on my way to work today and Scissor Sisters's "Return To Oz" was on, and was playing at a little over half speed. Scissor Sisters chopped and screwed sounded AWESOME, so I pulled out some other tapes from the glove box - Terry "Rojvi," Tonight's The Night, and the new Streets album. I didn't want to go to work!

I gotta tell Mr Wonka?! about this....

back in Tejas, i had me a six disc changer that could turn anything into Fennesz. things like Eric Dolphy's Out to Lunch and Cecil Taylor's Unit Structures would start to bend and distort, and it'd make me swerve, it'd be so great.
