i enjoy it a whole lot more without the reviews, but maybe i just never read it fully before, but it seems a bit too rock-friendly right now. and if youre gonna feature bands, dont make them kasabian. other than that, i like how its shaping up (or down, if it really is going down the drain) as a quarterly.

are Final issues of mags ever deemed ebay friendly ? should we all go clear shelves of these artifacts and store in attics for future financial gain ? as i have scanned the last JS and found it to be rather empty of anything interesting (the Streets cover may have swayed my opinion on this one though ..)

glad you like. it was too short to do grime real justice, but compact writing is an artform...

martin (martin), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:20 (twenty years ago) link

it IS an artform...not everything has to be sprawling and maniacal. and in urban music mags, you HAVE to be compact and economical.

thesplooge (thesplooge), Friday, 4 June 2004 15:18 (twenty years ago) link

yeah, in Rural music mags you can just leave you words anywhere with a closed gate and a silo.

james porter (james porter), Friday, 4 June 2004 17:40 (twenty years ago) link

my point exactly.
