Running it backwards is the tish.

A friend pointed out how quaint it is on Brass Monkey when the Beasties say "C'mon everybody let's get fffffa".

additionally, what was the last word to undergo de-censorship? ('nigga' is frequently allowed on radio here [south africa], perhaps because it feels less like racial slur than rap slang)

tangentially...

i was watching the real world last week, and realized that, in the course of one conversation, MTV used both "blanking" and "beeping" to cover profanity. i think its another of their editing strategies employed to manufacture/heighten drama, but it was interesting.

I heard "99 Problems" on Radio 1 the other week, there was more drop-out than there was rap.

m, I saw tits in a South African music video being broadcast on Channel O at 7.30 in the evening. Zulu Tits. You guys are remarkably relaxed, huh?

De La Soul Is Dead's "Crocker" sample wins this thread.

You can lie, e.g. The Kinks' Apeman: the lyrics claim the son says 'fogging up my eyes'

Drop-out is the best. It just sounds so funny, especially when there's so many of them that something like 1/3 of the rap is missing.
