I imagine it might be related to all the changes going on with Warner Music Group. Does anyone know what's going on?

That stuff's been in and out of print for years, so if it's out again, it's sure to come back in at some point.

I figured this reissue programme was dead in the water, but apparently a couple of East Asian titles have been added: A Bell Ringing in an Empty Sky (released in April) and Kabuki and Other Traditional Music (out 9/11). Same packaging style as the '02/'03 reissues. Nonesuch's Explorer page doesn't reflect this, however, saying "Coming Soon: East Asia," as it has for four years.
I wonder how much further they'll get. Having bought a lot of them on vinyl since then (some were never on CD), I feel like this is coming a little late: I'd fill in some gaps, probably, but I wouldn't re-purchase what I've already got.
