Have the Nonesuch Explorer reissues been discontinued?

I've noticed that Nonesuch's homepage no longer has a link to their Explorer Series page. (It's still there if you look for it, but not linked to on the main page.) It had been reported that they were going to reissue the entire series of albums between 2002 and 2005, but the last group of reissues came out in July 2003, and there haven't been any updates since then. I emailed them asking what was going on, but they haven't answered.

I imagine it might be related to all the changes going on with Warner Music Group. Does anyone know what's going on?

Thanks in advance.

oh no

I think after the Pacific/Gamelan/Indonesia batch, two Latin-American ones trickled out, but I haven't seen nor heard anything else on future ones. I know Nonesuch has ALWAYS been understaffed, with the limited employees there tapped even more now that they are working Wilco records and such. I too hope there's more coming...

Yah. Hopefully Wilco and Mag Fields will go quadruple platinum so they can get the rest out.

That stuff's been in and out of print for years, so if it's out again, it's sure to come back in at some point.

three years pass...

I figured this reissue programme was dead in the water, but apparently a couple of East Asian titles have been added: A Bell Ringing in an Empty Sky (released in April) and Kabuki and Other Traditional Music (out 9/11). Same packaging style as the '02/'03 reissues. Nonesuch's Explorer page doesn't reflect this, however, saying "Coming Soon: East Asia," as it has for four years.

I wonder how much further they'll get. Having bought a lot of them on vinyl since then (some were never on CD), I feel like this is coming a little late: I'd fill in some gaps, probably, but I wouldn't re-purchase what I've already got.
