awfully good.

come on, dude - they've been releasing the same song ("Downtown Swinga") for almost ten years. Their lyrics are shit and their flow is mediocre at best. Putting loud guitars behind this mess will just make it sound that much closer to Body Count.

hmmmmm, i love MOP. if you dont like MOP, as DJ premier might say, you dont like hardcore hip hop. their lyrics arent the greatest, but i dont know how you could say their flows arent good. their flows are actually the greatest thing about their songs. but MOP have a select fan base, its not for everyone. you should try and hear it to see what you think... its not brilliant, but as far as rock-rap collisions go, this is pretty much up there i think.

i can't think of any mc's i'd rather hear over loud guitars. except maybe steve rollN

splooge OTM about their flows being the best part about them. just so insanely over the top. there's this song called "on the run" w/ mos def and MOP (it also has loud guitars), mos kicking it off w/ a typically genteel verse, and the contrast b/t mos and MOP is just so blindingly apparent once fizzy takes control and just fucking rips it

There really aren't that many M.O.P. songs that sound like "Downtown Swinga"

Especially SINCE then.
