How many young girls buy Eminem records and go, "Ooooh he's so sexy" (keep thinking about that brill Brass Eye spoof)... and look at all these Godwaful boy bands and "Macho" Rap stars, Dido period dramas etc

And making a sex symbol out of Chris Martin. Really, it's pretty shoddy stuff. I mean, I want to shag Emma Bunton, not buy her records.

There has been a lot of discussion about how to save the music industry and I think this one has been largely unspoken about. But we all think it, really. What does ILM think of this proposal and would it work?

Come on man, I don't know any guys that buy Christina or Britney albums. I did, however, a Brit concert on MTV and it was girls in the audience. I also knew a girl who waited for hours to catch a glimpse of Ms Spears at the Crossroads premiere in London.
