I think it's a bag of mediocre wank, by and large. Robin likes it a lot more (see NYLPM). Who's right?

the first tune's cool. but would be better as an instrumental. and a couple of the others are alright. but yes, pretty shite, basically.

I have never gotten Madonna. I doubt I ever will. That High School talent-show voice. The vacuous tracks. Those fabled producers, slathering flashy paint onto a rotting barn. Serious, thoughtful people--people I respect--saying, "I was intrigued by the production on Ray of Light..." Wasn't it Goebles who said, "Repeat a lie often enough--". At least the new one is up front about its insipidity. At least--God help me--it's back to merely sex!

"music", the single, should be sung by a yellow puppet in a Levis advert, not a pregnant, wrinkled, faux-Anglo, washed-up, gold-toothed cheerleader from Detroit. It just goes to show you how far $2,ooo,ooo in promotions can go to secure warm reviews of an album featuring neu-disco songs that sucked the first time on Paris Is Burning. Aside from the um-tiss-um-tiss banality, can we agree that William Orbit should not produce acoustic guitars ever again?

one month passes...

I think Madonna is beautiful. She has a lot of talent within her own music. So she has changed a lot through out the years, so what...that is what makes her stand out from other musicians, more unique I'd say. I think after all theses yrs of trying to find herself, she finally has. She has all she wants. A wonderful family, and a man "to keep". Go Madonna, keep making ya music, it rocks!

hmm. well it's better then ray of light. but.. I like don't tell me. and I like some of the beats Mirwais made. but.. she just can't sing.

people, just buy mirwais' solo record if you want some crazy beats WITHOUT madonna. :)
