Taz - Can't Contain Me

Big big dirty new tune by Def Jam UK artist Taz, with cringey sing songy lyrics; goin' on like J2K impersonating Joe Budden. Better than Chingy and J-Kwon and all those other fake US rappers that are in vogue still. The beat though, is big. It's a galloping disco rip off of 'Without Me' with all liquidy synth noises and an itchy infectious stop-start rhythm. It's good and seems kind of 'professional' if you know what i mean. My girlfriend said it sounds like kylie minogue but she just went to see red hot chilli peppers at the weekend so what does she know.

Who's heard it and liked it or hates it?

i have this in my pile .. but the cd has a great big warning 'will not play in computers' so what the effing point .. i listen to stuff @ work ..due to Family Life. so guess its going to be a while b4 Taz gets any of my time. theres a lesson in there somewhere. i think.

is this the same taz that produced 'jus a rascal' by dizzee?

Yes. I literally just put this on now and there's this thread! Super. Starting an album with a track called 'Only God Can Judge Me' isn't terrifically bright, mind
