I've really been wanting to see the movie again. Do you remember the whole "words and music" thing? The unfinished Season in Hell album, based on Rimbaud's Season in Hell, that Eddie and Word Man worked on together? I was thinking of buying a dollar copy of the soundtrack today after seeing that the album closes with a five minute track called "Season in Hell (Fire Suite)" (obvious Smile, "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow" connotations). I think I just want to see the movie again, though, instead.

A dollar is too much to ask for that soundtrack, though it'd make a nice coaster.

'on the dark side' is worth a dollar.

Why not seek out the deluxe, 5 cd box set of John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band?

Oh wait....

thirteen years pass...

when i was a kid i thought this was based on a true story (because of the way it was advertised in a series of commercials when it was airing on local TV a couple years after it came out), so for a few years after i would sometimes wonder if they ever found the guys who murdered Eddie. like i thought it was some kind of actual legend, like a rock and roll Ichabod Crane except a real story.
