Is anyone besides myself and Andy that are excited about a new Solvent album?

I love OMD and shit and synth-pop and Skinny Puppy and Ghostly (the label) releases the second album after Solvent City. Please say yes.

I must refrain from using "shit". This is some exquisite designed synth musique and I apologise. Beautiful. Some vocals on this one I hear.

i like "my radio" well enough. i remember hearing some solvent thing ages ago when i was young and idm-friendly and it sounded like cod boc. what else is good from him/her/them?

There's vocals on this one? Further proof that Styrofoam and Solvent are following identical career arcs.

Tell me more. I always vacillate between Lowfish and Solvent, never knowing which I really prefer.

Bascially if you like Solvent / Lowfish then check out the following if you haven't already:-

Skanfrom (v. minimal. v. 80's)
Styrofoam (last album esp. the vocals really do lift it up a notch)
Christian Kleine (pre- the new one, it's quite guitar based)
Console (the most hi-production and pop of the lot)
Opiate (more spacious, wierd)
Remote Viewer (chhhhilllleeeeddddd)
Alva Noto (ditto)
Xela (gorgeous acoustics plus Solvent beats - highly recommended)
Accellera Deck (funky)
B Fleischmann (friendly, dashes of humour - great cover of Torn)
Arovane (tres ambient)
Phonem (more Warpy)
Manual (obtuse in places but rewarding)
Limp (ditto)
Dictaphone (incredibly engaging considering how ambient it is)
Pulseprogramming (visual-based - great, great songs)
National Forest (quirky, friendly, a must buy)
Lynskey - (me)
