Amiga dance music

Can anyone point me to commercially-released house, techno, Euro-pop, etc releases made (almost) exclusively with Amigas? Not just Amiga-sequenced. I'm aware of Ec8or and the like, I'm looking for less abrasive/cheeky usage.

Any commercially released music made with PC trackers, for that matter?

Urban Shakedown - Some Justice

That was made with two Amigas linked together via midi and a Zoom fx unit.

Also, Neophyte - 3 Amigas EP. Loud abrasive gabba tingz.

Bogdan Raczynski on Rephlex label has always used trackers for his music.

Chris Clark on WARP uses trackers (or so I heard).

Someone make a VST tracker!

You can still get Octamed for Windows as far as I know...

try Muffler - he started out on the amiga demo scene and now has a bunch of records out on DnB labels like Hospital, Moving Shadow and Trouble On Vinyl (though i doubt he uses the amiga exclusively anymore but you might be able to dig up some of his early stuff somewhere)

Someone make a VST tracker!

Do you mean a tracker that uses VST instruments (http://www.renoise.com/) or a tracker-interfave for Cubase (me wants it!)?

I meant a tracker that is hosted as a VSTi (rather than a tracker that hosts VSTs)... An Energy XT style sub host. There have been a number of people who have threatened to do it, but no one has seen it through. It seems like an obviously useful & popular idea allowing you to do drum and sample c-c-ch-chopping (where trackers excel) but allowing one to use a regular sequencer for the stuff that they are better at.

I've been after that kind of interface on Cubase for many years for drum programming too. When Renoise came out I was hoping it might be possible to sync the two up together, but this proved difficult.

So, yeah, an additonal interface would be fantastic.

It's funny, but thinking about how basic trackers really are, whenver I listen to some of my old 4 channel Amiga Mods I wonder just how I managed to make such complex music out of them.
