On ilx break I got hold of this LP by Leo Smith called 'human rights': first half is a bunch of (as I recall) reggae-ish pop songs (?!) then you flip over and its a ~25 min improv sesh (really good, btw) with Peter Kowald and Gunter sommer. er...

But I like it, just that its unexpected. any similar encounters?
