This review of a CD entitled "Humanure" is so pathetically
earnest it's sublime.

"First things first with Cattle Decapitation: this band is vegan to the core, not consuming any animal products nor byproducts whatsoever. Veganism is a noble and difficult lifestyle choice to be sure ... "

And if that doesn't make you hard for "Humanure," I don't know what will. Read the rest, if you must:

if you passed the lead singer on the street (without his bacon mask) you would think he was a web designer or an ILXOR or a video store clerk or something. very unassuming guy. but fucking funny, with a wicked sense of humor, too (he worked at my local record store for a looooong time). cattle decapitation = one of the better parts of the san diego music scene.

travis from cattle decap dj's at the roseary room certain nights of the week, i guess. don't know what he plays from the new hoobastank record or something like that, but i do know they've got some first-class sangria to drink there, to say nothing of their modest but mighty array of fine beers, including some belgian wheat beer called wahoo white.

found out today that tad doyle likes my old sd band's demo tape. he was hanging out at chaser's on el cajon blvd in north park on saturday night and his girlfriend had had a copy.
