AMERICAN GRAFFITI SOUNDTRACK (only british instead)

Okay. Let's say that u were making a movie like 'American Graffiti' all about the innocence and dreams of youth, the late night parties, driving around looking to cop off etc. Well let's say that instead of making it about the early 1960's american experience, you were making it about the early 90's in Britain instead. Driving around looking for a rave somewhere, first pills that sort of thing. Now whereas George Lucas wallpapered his thing with music from a specific era (strictly 56-62) of RocknRoll, let's say you were doing it about an era of Rave/Dance/Acid house (strictly from 'Pump Up the Volume' late 87-92).

What would you put on there?

i dont know, because for at least the 87-90 part of that, do you make the soundtrack british only, ignoring america/belgium/italy/holland?
