Very good MC...will prob. not be remembered by many, but a really great and underrated member of the Juice Crew, and managed to stay fairly on top of his game and up-to-date when others stumbled (although I like many am guilty of ignoring his stuff after slaughtahouse...need to find a copy of disposable arts one of these days...)....

Disposable arts was surprisingly good, and his new one is pretty ok too.

He's easily one of Eminem's biggest influences - even on Slim Shady Eminem sounds distinctly derivitive (at times) of Ace's style.

I deleted all the skits, but otherwise yeah, great record.

"FAY" is probably the first rap track I've heard in ages where you just have that... you know when you hear a song and all you can do is just go "Yes!" when it's ended, and then play it 45 times in a row? Well, that.

"i should quit playa hating/but fuck that, i'm not a quitter"

I never liked it that much! It was a popular hip-hop sleeper album, but it was incredibly bitter and depressing, but that seemed redundent to me after Disposable Arts which I still like a lot more. And of course I still love his earlier stuff, that cold chillin comp has some great stuff on it and "Born To Roll" is one of the best songs ever, NYC with 808s!
